Jenny: Appreciation

Your hard work on this site is appreciated Ali. It's sometimes difficult to maintain enthusiasm when so much of RA's work is now not as accessible to many of us as it used to be, but site like yours keep us in the loop. Hang in there :). Jx

Thank you Jenny,

evangeline ahad: Berlin Station

Berlin Station reminds me of my stumbling on MI5, the most fascinating Spy series. Cambridge Five had always stoked my interest on spooks, why they do it, not how they do it. The issue is as illusive as finding Richard in our streets here in the boonies. But I am hopeful. He might make another film here.

Jan Taylor: guitar playing

Most intrigued as to whom Richard is going to be performing with, judging by the selfie on Twitter looks as if it could be with a heavy metal band. So wish I could be at that gig.

No official announcement has been made, but it's clear from the follows he has made on twitter, the film's twitter page and fellow cast members that Richard has started filming for a British film called Midlife Crisis. His fellow cast mates are Colin Salmon, Toby Stephens and John Thomson, so I think it's fair to say this is going to be a funny and entertaining film!

I haven't added this to the news yet but I might as well do it now :)

Carol Megson: Richar's Interview 1-7-15

I've been trying to find Richard's interview of 1-7-15 with Anna Wendzikowska of Good Morning, TVN and, so far, haven't been able to find it. Was just hoping that this interview would be added to the site eventually. Can we hope for that?? Thanks so much, as always, for the fantastic work you do on this site!!

Hi Carol

Sorry, I seemed to have missed that one. The interview is here, but that's only good if you understand Polish! However, RichardArmitageCentral have been given a translation here.

Carol Megson: My 'go-to' site

I have been in 'hog heaven' since I discovered this site. Reading all RA's personal messages (since the beginning...WOW!), plus reading all the many (and terribly exciting and insightful) interviews has given me many, many hours of reading pleasure. I won't even get started on The Gallery...oh my my. If I need to check on some fact or another about RA, I come here. Please, PLEASE keep up the great work!!

Thank you Carol, I'm grateful to hear people still like to visit this site.

evangeline ahad: how to connect my Amazon account to charity with Richard

I tried using the link but no luck. I order from Amazon Canada and Abe books in the US because its cheaper P&S than UK.Thanks for you help.

I only have an affiliation arrangement with Amazon US, UK and Germany. Each affiliation with an Amazon country site has to be arranged separately. I looked into an arrangement with Amazon Canada a short time ago but there are not enough Canadian fans to warrant support - I ran a poll and the response was not enough to make it a viable option.

Best wishes

Julie: A simple hello

Just a note to say our family stumbled upon the BBC's Robin Hood and really enjoyed his character,Guy of Gisborne. My daughter Jessica's birthday is coming up (5/31/16) and I wondered if Mr. Armitage might be able to send a quick birthday wish to her? Thank you,Julie

Hi Julie
You would have to contact Richard directly with such a request as I have no official contact with him. This website is unofficial. The only way to contact him is via his agent's address - see my FAQ page for details - however it's a bit too late to get a request to him by the 31st! Richard is on Twitter but he will not respond from there as he has never replied to a fan unless it is part of a formal Q&A to promote a project. Sorry to disappoint.

I hope your daughter has a lovely birthday.

Tommie McMillan: new narration by Mr. A

Something to add to his audiowork career, "Jutland WW1's Greatest Sea Battle" which just aired on Ch. 4 in England. It's been posted on YouTube, thank God for those of us who don't live in the UK.

(Youtube link removed as it is blocked in the UK and breaks copyright law, however I'm sure people can find it on youtube if they wish. I watched it, recorded it and uploaded a short clip - see the news page. Ali)

Jessica Young: painting

Miss Ali, I wonder if Mr. Armitage likes paintings, and I made it myself, freehand, although it looks like a child made it. Do I send the painting to you,and you send it to him, or wait till the very next time he hits Kansas City, Missouri?

Hi there

You send it direct to him. I have nothing to do with his agent, PR or mail. Please refer to the FAQ page on this site for details.

Best wishes

Sylvi: Cameo in Game of Thrones

Dear Ali, maybe this has already been discussed here, but surprisingly I couldn't find anything on the topic online. I wanted to ask about a cameo appearance of Richard in Game of Thrones. In season 5 episode 2 "The House of Black and White", the man of the Night's Watch standing next to Samwell Tarly in the voting scene looks very much like Richard. Don't you think? He isn't credited, but I could neither find out who else that man is. Unfortunately I can't include a screenshot of the guy in question. Could it actually be Richard? What do you think? Thanks a lot and cheers.

Hi there

I know the guy you mean and sorry to say it isn't Richard. I saw the picture - did you email it to me? Someone did. Anyway, the guy does resemble Richard but I am 100% sure it isn't him. If Richard did a cameo in that show, word would get out. Social media these days is very hot on picking up these things. Richard had a cameo in the Through the Looking Glass film and he told us via an interview so I believe news of such a cameo would soon spread. I wish he would appear in GoT as I love that show!
